I flew floatplanes for a fishing camp in Northwestern Ontario during university summer breaks, (yes I’m one of two Canucks at our company) -hoping to build a flying career — but when jobs were scarce, I detoured to trading desks at investment banks. Decades later, I returned to the skies with more experience, a better briefcase, and the same love of flying.
